I agree with everything you said here. ...Thank you. I agree with everything you said here. I have done all of these things for my sister who is in an abusive marriage for the last couple years. She has ever taken one step for herself, never called the hotline, never used a pre paid phone, and always forgets her own safety plans. Her husband points guns at her so the laser is on her chest, has private investigators report her every move back to her husband, and recently broke her hand when he threw her to the floor. She refused to report the violence. My concern is for the friends and family who are advised to keep giving support to anyone who prefers to live in denial. It takes it"s toll on us emotionally.
